Offering a free shuttle bus to its private beach, Club Esse Sporting offers an outdoor pool, a range of sports facilities and a restaurant. All functional rooms face the large garden and WiFi is free in the public areas.

You can start your day with a sweet and savoury breakfast. Fish and meat specialities are served buffet style in the Club Esse Sporting’s restaurant.

What was the highlight of Club Esse Sporting Hotel

Nice complex but I would choose something closer to the beach next time.

The private cabin feel as opposed to just another hotel room. The beach, a twelve and half minute walk from the hotel (I timed myself walking) is one of the best in Italy, let alone just Sardinia, La Pelosa, stunning. The swimming pool. The outside bar.

Nothing personal, but the two check in staff on the afternoon of the 8th of August were clueless. Paying for the room became a twenty minute affair. We were expected to drive back into Stintino, 15 minutes away (after a two and a half hour drive) just to withdraw cash for the 5 euro city taxes. Luckily my friend found 5 euros. They didn't know how far the beach was, where it was. They spoke very little English (I understand that, of course, but enough to help would have been good) The breakfast was fine but we were made to feel like poor relations because we were "only B & B" guests. The coffee machine did not work. A bit poor really. Regarding the beach there is a shuttle bus that costs 30 euros. The walk to the beach is not particularly an attractive one.

On arrival they made me wait til 4pm to check in saying the wasn’t ready. I walked past my room 4 times in 2 hours and it was not being cleaned, also I was unable to get a dinner booking in the restaurant really not happy

Amazing location, walking distance to La Pelosa. Good breakfast, with amazing gluten free options

The staff seemed a bit unprepared , polite but yet not sufficient. We told them that our room had an issue with plumbing sistem which made noise throughout the day, but they excused them by saying that the season was ending soon so they couldnt fix it and we couldnt change our room either. It was supposed to be an upgrade, it didnt feel like one at all!!!

The property was clean and had a pleasant swimming pool, but breakfast were disappointing for a 4-star rating.

The property was clean and the swimming pool was a pleasant place to stay.

At the breakfast the scrambled eggs were cold and the salami was moistened. Didn’t expected for a 4 stars property.

Good potential but frustrating

Good room and facilities. Clean. Good parking.

Staff is not very accommodating. Breakfast is very basic. If you don't book the all inclusive, they make sure you feel like a third class guest. Eg: arriving at breakfast towards the end, with nearly all tables available, forcing us to sit in the worst table because they were all reserved... for lunch, in 3 hours; or in the informational panels when they offer what's available in the hotel to then tell you that it's only for the other guests when you try to book the activity. So I guess it's a 4-start hotel if you go all inclusive, but more of a 3-start if not.

Thanks to the helpful staff

It is an old resort, a little bit refurbished, but totally out of date. Otherwise, it is very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful, although a few speak English. The breakfast is average. My family stayed one night and the staff was very generous to wait with the key at midnight, as the reception closes half an hour before.

It is out of date. We had the feeling of a time leap.

Very nice hotel walking distance from La Pelosa

Friendly staff. Very nice pool. Good breakfasts (fresh croissants!).

We didn’t know that since 1st July there are reservations to the La Pelosa beach. It would be nice if hotel staff mentioned it to foreign guests.
